Background to New Start Project
One of the greatest challenges our society at large is faced with under the current climate of recession and spending cuts involves with how to address the rising levels of unemployment, worklessness and the issues of young people—who are not involved in education, employment or training.
The lack of education or training not only debars people from employment opportunities, but it is also often the cause for other problems in our society—such as crimes, homelessness, drug addiction, etc.
FHIM New Start was started by Freedom House International Ministries; a registered Christian Charity to address not just the surface issue of unemployment but also to tackle the negative mindset, which often is the root cause for the lack of zeal and motivation some people have in regard to realising and fulfilling their full potentials.
